According to John McClain of the Houston Chronicle, Texans safety Ed Reed recently underwent arthroscopic hip surgery and will miss OTA’s as well as minicamp.
Last week, FS Ed Reed underwent arthroscopic surgery to repair a small labral tear in his hip. He’s expected to be ready for training camp.

This shouldn’t surprise anyone, Reed has had hip problems for a long time.
